Receipt printers are an integral part of a point of sale (POS) system which is used to print payment slips and customer receipts. This is the must-have product for restaurants, retail stores or etc because when you are in a commercial activity you need to print receipts for every moment.

They are slower, noisier but known for their reliability and good quality prints, compared to other receipt printers. These printers are most effective in specialized working conditions where low-cost printing is essential.

3. Line printers

The advantages of impact printers:
1. The printing costs are the cheapest as compared to other printers because they use multi-pass ribbons.
2. You can get custom sizes print on-page and can print multiple copies at a time.
3. Impact printers can use NCR (no carbon required) paper so that copies are produced instantly as the printing is done.
4. The impact printers are inexpensive and easily available in the market and the running cost is also very low as compared to other printers.

These printers are best suitable for the kitchen due to high temperatures and stickiness environment because other printers use thermal print and in the kitchen environment, the print quality might get affected due to excessive heat.
